Chilli Joins Forces with Celerity in Exciting New Expansion
Chilli IT is delighted to announce that we’ve joined forces with Celerity as part of their expansion. This acquisition elevates our combined business turnover to over £40 million and strengthens our team to a total of 95 professionals.
As an IBM Gold Partner and managed service provider, Chilli IT will continue to operate from our Chester base, with our team of 17 maintaining their roles. We’re proud to say that the Chilli brand will remain intact as we move forward in this new chapter.
Founded in 2002, Celerity is a provider of intelligent cybersecurity, data protection and data visualisation services for companies.
In 2021, Celerity attracted a £15m investment from BGF. This is the first transaction for Celerity as the business embarks on an acquisition trail to supercharge future growth.
Celerity’s chief operations officer, Craig Aston, said: “We’ve experienced strong organic growth with our managed services and have been looking for potential acquisitions to support the strategic direction of the business.

Celerity securely manages and optimises legacy environments within the data centre and cloud, driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation for customers. Similarly, Chilli’s expertise ensures a highly skilled approach to managed services while streamlining processes and maximising performance.
