Zero Day

A “zero-day” refers to a software vulnerability or security flaw that is exploited by cyber attackers before the developers of the affected software or system are aware of it. The term “zero-day” comes from the fact that developers have “zero days” to fix the issue because it becomes known to the public or the vendor at the same time it is exploited.
