IBM Announce End Of Support Date For IBM i 7.1

IBM has announced that support for IBM i 7.1 will be withdrawn from the 30th of April 2018. Extended support costs are set to be double the cost of current software support costs, so it is recommended for you to have a IBM i upgrade plan in place if you are on IBM i 7.1 or below.

Chilli IT can help you upgrade from any version of IBM i and have recently helped customers move from other unsupported versions of the operating system, such as IBM i 5.4 and IBM i 6.1.

IBM has recently released IBM i 7.3 VR2, adding ground breaking features designed to improve DB2 and additional security measures cementing its reputation as one of the most robust and virus resistant architectures in the industry. Chilli IT can help you upgrade to a supported release of IBM i and can provide you with support for any challenges involved with your IBM i upgrade.
