IBM has today announced the End of Support data for the V5R4 release of the operating system (i5/OS) as September 30th, 2013.

V5R4 has been available since 2006 and with the End of Support date scheduled for late 2013, this has been the longest supported release to date. Chilli understands that clients will want to stay on current releases for as long as possible as a move to another release can be seen as disruptive but Chilli can ensure the process is cost effective and results in minimum downtime.
