Paranoia 2 Tape Encryption
Your most precious asset is data and it has potential value for use and abuse by people outside of your organisation. Recent high profile losses show how easily Terabytes of valuable information can go missing on removable backup tapes. Tapes which, unless encrypted, contain clear data that is readable by any drive.
Encryption is a primary security tool for safeguarding backup tapes. If you are worried about data protection, disaster recovery and compliance then you need Paranoia2.
Available in an external encryption device or as a complete secure backup tape subsystem, Paranoia2 uses strong encryption protocol 3DES to protect your data. Encrypted tapes can only read by another Paranoia unit with the correct user and hardware key.
